This webinar presents the latest developments with regards to the support of the ASERIS solver. In ANSA, the main features are the definition of waveguides and the graphical user interface for a complete set up of post processing calculation, while in META, the support of dynamic 2D cuts of 3D far field diagrams.
Thermal management has an increased role in the automotive industry due to its significant effect on the design of reliable mechanical components and improved systems related to human comfort. This work presents a basic scenario of heating an exhaust system of a car and shows the impact on the temperature distribution of the heat shields and the underbody.
This paper was presented at NAFEM's CAASE (June 21-23, 2022) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Follow the link below to download this paper.

This presentation presents the steps to develop an optimization procedure to speed up geometry modifications via the interconnection and integration between commercial and open-source tools.
SPDRM enables organizations to manage simulation knowledge and to orchestrate the full spectrum of virtual product development procedures. Read the Executive Summary on why SPDRM of BETA CAE Systems is the right software solution.
The first torsional mode frequency value is a key value for concept cars. Having a trained algorithm, which provides answers based on a Finite Element Body-in-White model, without running a solver analysis, accelerates the digital model validation process.
Front crash is one of the most common finite element analyses during vehicle development. The Machine Learning functionality implemented in KOMVOS can be trained to predict the behavior of theoretical designs in a front crash, without running the full FE analysis. This enables the performance of multiple “what-if” studies without requiring the otherwise additional design and solver run time.
Torsional stiffness and torsional angle are among the most important key values in a vehicle’s Body in White (BiW) development. Using a trained Machine Learning model the identification of these values can be predicted in a fraction of the time needed for re-designing and running again the analysis.
The Opening Distortion Fingerprint (ODF) is a method to evaluate the opening stiffness on vehicle body using dynamic results instead of static loads. It can be used to limit the distortion in the closure openings and enable a deeper analysis of the dynamic forces acting on the body.
Crash simulations are relative complex processes, considering all required steps, from model import and simplification, mesh generation, material description, to boundary conditions, contacts and initial conditions setup. Starting from a detailed CAD model, BETA CAE Systems provides all the necessary tools for Aerospace crash simulations pre- and post- processing.
