ASSESS Initiative Announces DEVELOP3D as a Gold Sponsor of the ASSESS 2020 Congress, the 2020 Digital Twins Forum and the ASSESS Initiative

Clarkesville, GA ASSESS Initiative, a broad reaching multi-industry initiative to facilitate a revolution of enablement that will vastly increase the availability and effectiveness of Engineering Simulation, is proud to announce that DEVELOP3D, will be a “Complete” Gold Sponsor for 2020. This “complete” sponsorship includes sponsoring the upcoming 2020 Digital Twins Forum to be held at the ASDL offices on the Georgia Tech Campus on July 7-8, 2020, sponsoring the ASSESS 2020 Congress to be held at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, November 2nd – 4th, 2020 and sponsoring the ASSESS Initiative Membership Program at the Gold level.

“For too long now, the software industry has predicted the mainstream adoption of simulation, but to date, we’ve yet seen widespread use in the wider community and certainly not upfront in the design process,” said Al Dean, Editor in Chief and Co-Founder at DEVELOP3D. “I’m delighted to be sponsoring the ASSESS Initiative’s events, as they offer stakeholders from the software industry and user community to come together, engage, learn and progress both the idea of the Digital Twin as well as the wider simulation world further.”

The 2020 Digital Twins Forum is a collaboration between ASSESS and the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL) at Georgia Tech to organize a 2-day forum to develop a common clear understanding of the state of the Art and the potential of Digital Twins. The 2020 Digital Twins Forum attendance is limited to 50 attendees and is by invitation only. Registration for the 2020 Digital Twins Forum is open.

The ASSESS 2020 Congress is the 5th annual congress for ASSESS organized to “enable” both strategies and relationships related to significantly increasing the use and benefit of Engineering Simulation. Key business drivers are forcing a “simulation revolution” to overcome the issue of required expertise, which is limiting the expansion of Engineering Simulation usage. The theme of the ASSESS 2020 Congress is “Leading the Engineering Simulation Revolution.”

Registration for the ASSESS 2020 Congress is by invitation only and is limited to 105 attendees. Registration will close either when all available seats are taken but no later than October 24, 2019.

“We appreciate the support of DEVELOP3D as a “Complete” Gold Sponsor in 2020 and their upcoming participation at our annual congress and the Digital Twin Forum with ASDL,” says Joe Walsh, CEO and Co-Founder of the ASSESS Initiative.

The ASSESS Initiative was formed to bring together key players, both users, and developers of simulation software, to guide and influence the software tool strategies for performing model-based analysis, simulation, and systems engineering with a vision “To significantly expand the use and benefit of software tools for model-based analysis, simulation, and systems engineering in the engineering applications domain.”

The ASSESS Initiative Membership program provides the ability for the ASSESS Initiative to expand its efforts and community benefits beyond the annual congress. The ASSESS Membership Program is appropriate for all organizations engaged in Analysis, Simulation, and Systems Engineering activities related to Engineered products & processes. The ASSESS Membership Program is offered in individual or group memberships. Active ASSESS Initiative Members receive access to Members Only content on the ASSESS website and a discount on the ASSESS Congress Registration Fees.
