Advanced Turbo Machinery Grid Generation in GridPro Version 9.0 will be unveiled June 24-28 at Turbo Expo 2024

Miami, Florida — Program Development Company LLC, leading developer of robust, high quality, versatile, automatic grid generation for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), announces that version 9.0 of their GridPro product with significant enhancements in Geometry handling, block topology generation, grid generation, and automation will be on display in the exhibit area of the Turbomachinery Technical Conference & Exposition (Turbo Expo) in London, UK on June 24-28.

Turbo Expo brings together over 2,500 turbomachinery and propulsion engineering leaders from industry, academia, and government. The Turbo Expo 2024 program will include a special focus on achievements and needs to unlock a net-zero future in propulsion and power.

GridPro version 9.0 brings significant enhancements that provide users the opportunity to get a more precise view of turbo machinery phenomena stemming from more complex turbulence, cavitation, and heat transfer than would otherwise be possible. We will present how GridPro can automate the generation of a (structured/Hexahedral) mesh of a turbine blade and the surrounding domain, including cooling holes that is suitable for Large Eddy Simulations (LES) and beyond.

“We are excited to unveil GridPro version 9.0 at Turbo Expo 2024,” said Dr. Peter Eiseman, CEO. “This version of GridPro provides our customers with the most advanced toolkit to generate high quality meshes for turbo machinery applications.”

GridPro version 9.0 also introduces a new vertical application for fully automated block topology and mesh generation of Volute geometries. Please stop by booth # 523 at the Turbo Expo 2024 to check out GridPro version 9.0 and discover why it is the most advanced tool to generate high quality meshes for turbo machinery applications.

About Program Development Company LLC

Program Development Company has been a leader in meshing technology, revolutionizing traditional structured grid generation with GridPro, that has set the standard for high quality meshing. Contrary to other meshing approaches for CFD, GridPro focuses on automation and robustness without compromising mesh quality. GridPro customers come from different domains, including turbo machinery, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, and others. PDC was founded in 1989 by Dr. Peter Eiseman to cater to the high-quality grid requirements of NASA’s Glenn Research Centre and has grown ever since to cater to the requirements of high-quality CFD for advanced applications worldwide. Program Development Company develops and markets GridPro worldwide with its headquarters in Miami, Florida, USA, and an office in Bengaluru, India.
